A dialogue between the archives “Le Radici del Nuovo” at MEET Digital Culture Center and “Spazio Archivio” at Kartell Museum

To mark Design Week 2026, Kartell Museum and MEET Digital Culture Center are launching a dialogue between their respective archives, “Spazio Archivio” and “Le Radici del Nuovo”. Thus “Spazio alle Radici” is born, a project in which the two museums come together: at Kartell Museum with references to the contents of MEET collection, and vice versa at MEET, with references to the contents of the Kartell archive, in a succession of intersections between histories and languages.

MEET archive explores innovation in art and digital culture, while the Kartell archive chronicles the innovations that have shaped the history of design. The comparison between the two collections connects different disciplines and highlights the role of the archive as a source of inspiration and a place for research and cultural production. The project offers a shared perspective on broad themes such as technology, innovation, design, and nature, and values roots as a starting point for imagining and building the future.
