Let’s MEET in September
Let’s MEET in September! From July 29 through September, MEET will be closed for special maintenance of the Immersive Room, but we’ll see you again soon with new events, exhibitions and immersive experiences!
Upon our return and through September 13, you can still visit Synthetic Creatures by Rebecca Allen, a retrospective tracing fifty years of research by a pioneer of computer animation that explore the role of the body, perception, and identity in virtual worlds.
Starting September 16, we’ll present 2030: Collective Resonance, a group exhibition of Taiwanese works curated by Hsin-Chien Huang that explores how cultural memory is transformed and regenerated in the age of AI. Don’t miss the opening night on September 15 at 6:30 p.m., featuring a live performance by Billy Yi-Chun Chang, a former Cirque du Soleil dancer.
Weekend activities for children and teens ages 6 to 12 are also resuming in collaboration with Scuola di Robotica: the Kids Lab, workshops tied to the themes of the current exhibitions; and the CluBot sessions, events dedicated to robotics.
And that’s not all: many more activities, experiences and exhibitions are coming in the months ahead. Stay tuned to our social media channels and website for all the details!
