4:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.: “Let’s Sort It Out” for ages 8 to 12
One Saturday a month, MEET and Scuola di Robotica present CluBot: workshops designed for children and teens who are passionate about technology and want to experiment in a stimulating and fun way.
Through a hands-on, “learning by doing” approach, participants explore the world of coding and programming while developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. During these ongoing sessions, applied science blends with social interaction, allowing young inventors to collaborate as a team, share their passions, and grow within a true tech community.
Robot selvaggio
The young participants explore a mysterious island to guide a cute robot they built themselves as it makes friends with the forest animals. Using colorful bricks, motors, and smart sensors, the children assemble the robot and design a large natural habitat full of logic challenges and interactive paths. Through visual block-based programming, the team makes the robot perform special movements and sounds to overcome the forest’s obstacles. A dynamic, cooperative adventure that transforms the story into a real-life action game, stimulating logical thinking and a love of nature.

DifferezIAmoci
Participants will explore the key concepts of machine learning, putting their skills as future scientists to the test in a technological challenge to make our city cleaner. We’ll discover how computers can learn to recognize objects by training a real digital brain. We’ll create an intelligent system capable of identifying different materials and independently deciding how to sort them, exploring the secrets of the technology that is changing the world.
Target: Ages 8–12, from 4:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
