The history of digital art and culture is a distant and near past that can tell us something about our future.
“Le Radici del Nuovo” (The Roots of the New) was born from this premise.
It’s a project in progress that traces, through the collection of posters, iconic objects and videos of exhibitions, festivals and key events of the Italian and international scene from the MEET Archive, the milestones of the creative digital evolution.
Visiting and exploring the three floors of MEET it will be possible to immerse oneself in a walk through the protagonists and artistic movements that, starting from the last century and up to today, have started the process of research and expressive experimentation triggered by the advent of digital technologies.
