MENTORASTEAM POLICY FRAMEWORK GUIDE
This Guide has been created for one simple reason: to support stakeholders with practical guidance aimed at improving the employment situation of highly skilled migrant and second-generation women with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) background.
The Guide is also a useful tool for gaining an overview of employment opportunities for highly skilled migrant women and, more specifically, migrant women with STEAM backgrounds.
Among other things, the Guide includes the following:
* Collection of case studies to show policymakers and stakeholders the challenges faced by highly skilled migrant women.
* Initiatives (at national and European level) available to support migrant women in STEAM.
* Focus groups with migrant women in STEAM (5-8 participants per organization) to define final modules for IO2.
* Recommendations and conclusions, including a collection of useful OERs and MOOCs
