LIQUID CHIMERAS
The workshops offer practical, creative, and collaborative activities designed to stimulate critical thinking, curiosity, and active participation. Through interactive experiences, participants take part in a project aimed at connecting the artistic experience with interdisciplinary learning pathways capable of inspiring new visions and skills to inhabit the present and imagine the future with awareness.
ROBOT DEL MARE: COSTRUISCI E AFFERRA.
Build a robotic hand inspired by sea creatures!
Octopuses that grasp, crabs that clamp, starfish that explore: ocean creatures are extraordinary engineers. Drawing inspiration from the works of Liquid Chimeras by the duo Entangled Others—which transform oceanic phenomena into interconnected digital visions in constant motion—this workshop will help you discover the secrets of the underwater world.
Using programmable LEGO® kits, participants will build and program a robotic hand inspired by the joints and claws of marine animals. A hands-on and creative workshop to discover how technology, just like nature, can surprise us with unexpected solutions.
This activity is designed for children in first grade and up
Target: Ages 6–10, starting at 3:00 p.m.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Workshop price: €15 per child

NAVIGARE TRA LE ONDE.
Design and program the forces of the sea!
The sea is never the same: sometimes it’s as smooth as a mirror, other times it becomes an overwhelming force. How does a ship behave when the waves change intensity? How do you design something that can withstand the movement of the sea? This workshop puts participants to the test by turning them into real naval engineers.
Using programmable LEGO® kits, the kids will build a model capable of simulating a boat’s behavior in different sea conditions, programming sensors and motors to respond to changes in the forces at play.
An activity involving design, testing, and continuous improvement to learn that the best solution doesn’t come on the first try, but is built through trial and error.
Target: Ages 8–12, starting at 4:45 p.m.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Workshop price: €15 per child
A link to purchase workshop tickets will be available soon.
Admission tickets to the exhibition will be available for purchase on site at a reduced price of 5 euros for both adults and children.
