Milano Digital Week: events organized by MEET

From October 1 to 5, 2025, MEET will be the Central hub of Milan Digital Week. Organized by the City of Milan and TIG – The Innovation Group, the event will explore the themes of digital transformation and its impact on the lives of citizens, businesses, and institutions.

MEET will be the center of the proceedings, the reference point for those who want to learn more about issues related to digital transformation and its implications in everyday life. The center’s agenda includes two events related to the City Digital Skin Art festival, which will stop in Milan from October 1 to 5 for the first event of an international tour.

MEMORY COEXISTENCE: WHERE TIME CONVERGE

On October 2 at 2:30 p.m., in the Immersive Room at MEET, Memory Coexistence: Where Time Converges will be presented, a collective of international works curated by Yue Lai Ruan, Dominique Moulon, Maria Grazia Mattei, and Susa Pop.

The exhibition presents works from collectives and individual artists and addresses the theme of memory as one of the anthropological cornerstones of the technological age. The thesis is that memory has a very private, intimate dimension. But it is also a universal set, which can be accessed intuitively.

The founder of City Digital Skin Art, Yue Lai Ruan, will be present during the event. Curators and artists from the exhibition will be connected via livestream to present the exhibition and answer questions from the audience.

CITY DIGITAL SKIN ART FESTIVAL 2025 AWARD

On October 5 at 6 p.m., the City Digital Skin Art festival 2025 Award will be held at the MEET Theater.

The CDSA is an international digital video art event promoted by the China Academy of Art that brings the works of young students from around the world to large LED walls in various European and Asian cities.

The theme chosen for this edition of the CDSA is “Memory Coexistence.” It is an invitation to reflect on the role of memory as a universal human experience, both intimate and widespread. During the event, which will be attended by CDSA director and founder Yue Lai Ruan, the works selected for the CDSA 2025 call will be shown and the 15 winning projects will be announced. These will be screened in the Galleria delle Carrozze of Milan Central Station throughout the month of October.

The screenings will continue throughout October, allowing citizens and passers-by to encounter the works in their everyday space, in a casual, open, and accessible way. The CDSA will subsequently also reach China and other cities in Europe and Asia, building a global cultural network that brings together young artists and students from different parts of the world and promoting collective art as an open and shared creation.
