2030: Collective Resonance

To accompany with “2030: Collective Resonance”, a group exhibition of works from Taiwan that envision a near future in which technology and culture are deeply intertwined, and that explores how cultural memory is transformed and regenerated in the age of AI, MEET and Scuola di Robotica are offering workshops designed to delve deeper into the exhibition’s themes. Through works of new media art, VR, and immersive installations, “2030: Collective Resonance” examines the evolution of Taiwan’s cultural imagination within a global technological context and how cultural memory can be translated into digital forms.
The workshops offer practical, creative, and collaborative activities designed to stimulate critical thinking, curiosity, and active participation. Through interactive experiences, participants take part in a project aimed at connecting the artistic experience with interdisciplinary learning paths, paths capable of inspiring new perspectives and skills to live in the present and imagine the future with awareness.

Scintille digitali

Inspirational Work: Heart of Charcoal Fire by Lin Yun-Si, Chen Po-Kuei, Lan Ke-Chen and Hsieh Yu-Ling

Young participants step into the heart of an ancient ritual bonfire to discover how energy and sparks can be transformed into magical art. By connecting small electronic modules and sensors, the children will create paper braziers and lanterns that react to the intensity of sounds and voices. By adjusting the rhythms of the colored lights and the intensity of the flashes, the young programmers will bring to life a true ritual of light and technology that celebrates the community’s memories and traditions.

Target audience: Ages 6–9, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Workshop price: €15 per child
